The rapid development of genome sequencing technology has greatly reduced the cost of personal genome sequencing, which has brought unprecedented possibilities to reproductive medicine with considerable prospect of wide application. Medical and scientific professionals must develop ways to bridge fundamental research and clinical application, and to help clinicians leverage genome information for the benefit of patients. Driven by the tremendous development in genomics, bioinformatics, clinical medicine, and other disciplines, personalized precision medicine is becoming a reality. Technologies such as NIPT and PGT in reproductive genetics have already instigated a revolution, not just in biomedical research, but also in our ability to diagnose incurable diseases and develop appropriate treatments.                                                                                                      

At this exciting time, International Society of Reproductive Genetics (ISRG) has emerged. Its first meeting will be hosted by Beijing Innovation Center for Genomics (ICG) at Peking University and Peking University Third Hospital (PUTH). The objective of this conference is to facilitate international communication and cooperation to promote the development of scientific research and clinical practice in the field of reproductive genetics, and to provide professionals in reproductive genetics opportunities to be close to the state-of-the-art techniques and exchange ideas.
